64 Tips, Tricks, And Recipes for a Green Clean HomeOne of the best things you can do for your health is get rid of the nasty chemicals lurking in your everyday house cleaners. I’ve got a great compilation here of green clean recipes that are easy, effective, and toxic-free!

There is nothing I like more than a fresh, clean home. There is something so relaxing about it to me. Over the past few years, we have transitioned to a more eco-friendly way of cleaning and I am amazed at how much better some of these natural cleaners work!

  • Vinegar is my all-star, it is great for removing hard water and breaking down tough, stuck on messes in my sink when used with baking soda.Vinegar is great for clearing hard water out of faucets and shower heads. Fill a bag with vinegar, submerge the shower heat/faucet in the vinegar inside of the bag, secure with a rubber band, let sit overnight, and bam! Free flowing water! It is also a great glass cleaner, such in the recipe I shared here.
  • Baking Soda is like my all-natural soft scrubbing cleaner. I use it to clean the sinks in my house, and then wipe the sink with vinegar (and pretend there are mini-volcanos everywhere!). It is also great for cleaning clogged drains better than any pipe cleaner I have purchased. Just put a hefty amount of baking soda down the drain, then pour in some vinegar, cover the drain with a plate for 30 minutes, remove and rinse.
  • Grain Alcohol is great when added to all-purpose cleaners such as this one. We buy grain alcohol instead of rubbing alcohol and it works great when cleaning the counters in our kitchen and bathroom!

That is just a few of things we use more naturally in our home, and below is a grab-bag of amazing green clean tips, tricks, and DIY recipes from my favorite blogger buddies! Check out some of these easy, money-saving green cleaning recipes for a shinning home that you can feel really good about.

Great recipes!! I can’t wait to try them out! I started using vinegar and baking soda a few years ago for my household cleaning and since then I’ve found there is nothing vinegar can’t do. I’m still shocked.
